Randox Presents Goodwood’s ‘Future Lab’

June 2022, Goodwood, UK – Goodwood is excited to announce that Future Lab, presented by Randox, will return to this year’s Festival of Speed. Featuring more exhibitors than ever before, the major exhibition will again act as a launchpad for some of the world’smost innovative and forward-thinking visions of future technology.

With themes including marine, air and space mobility, as well as future cities and the Web3 revolution, the fun, immersive and interactive exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to get hands-on, view live demonstrations and interact with exciting technology innovations that will make the world a better place.

Presenting partner Randox will showcase ‘The Lab of The Future’ a variety of its innovative achievements in healthcare, across engineering, robotics, and automation. Using the unique science, technology, and innovation developed during the pandemic they are able to deliver a new range of preventative healthcare solutions to the wider public. The patented Randox biochip is capable of screening for hundreds of data points from a single blood sample to provide clients with cutting-edge insights to help improve health and live better for longer

Future Lab will also claim several world-firsts – from Interstellar Lab’s debut of its bio domes for sustaining life on this planet and others, to first-hand demonstrations of Move.ai’s motion capture technology. Visitors will also be able to interact with CalmTech’s never-before-seen AI dolphin – the people behind Paddington Bear’s recent royal appearance – and experience brand new haptic technology from TESLASUIT, which creates a whole-body human interface to the metaverse like nothing experienced before.

The extensive line-up also includes the US start-up that’s already sailed more global miles with autonomous drones than anybody else, the trio of companies which found Shackleton’s Endurance and first actual race footage from the new F1 of the skies racing series. There will also be a fully autonomous Boston Dynamics “Spot” robot, not to mention the ultimate ‘man and a van’ combination, complete with matching van and biped robot that actually unloads itself, plus a representative from NASA will be in attendance, alongside a new and amazingly realistic model of NASA’s Orion spacecraft.

Other exhibitors include electric boats, cars, bikes, and scooters, as well as drones, robotics and autonomous vehicles of all shapes and sizes. With educational and fun hands-on experiences available throughout the weekend, there really is something for everyone.

Friend of Goodwood and astronaut, Tim Peake, will also be making an appearance at the event on Sunday 26 June, stating: “Future Lab is a highlight of the latest cutting-edge technologies presented in a fun, interactive and informative way. I can’t wait to attend this year’s event and see what Future Lab has in store. It truly is a special place for visitors of all ages to explore what’s to come in tomorrow’s world.”

She develops content programmes for international exhibitions, online destinations and retail/cultural events and pop-ups, that engage industry and public audiences in exploring creative excellence, cultural shifts and our future world.

In 2017 she was commissioned by the Duke of Richmond to curate the inaugural FUTURE LAB : LIVE , a technology and science exhibition campus which sits at the centre of the world-renowned Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK.
